The Love Brin Bracelet Series - My story

A good friend of our family showed up one day with a little package no bigger than my palm. It was her new Boston puppy named Brin, named for her beautiful brindle color. She asked if we could watch her while she traveled for work.... UUUMMM....YES!!
I fell in love quickly and days turned to "can you watch her for a week?" and over the next few years we watched her longer and longer until we were told " She might as well just live with you!
We loved Brin for anamazing 14 years. She was my best friend, my confidant, snuggler, & the most unconditional love I ever felt. Everyone joked that I loved her more than my kids... it wasn't a joke LOL
After 14 years of love she got sick, my heart broke, I had to do the one thing I never ever wanted to do. I told her to tell me when it was time for her to stop fighting and to let her go. Two days later she did, it was crushing but for all the selfless love she gave me, I couldn't be selfish and make her hold on and fight. I missed work, I cried for weeks trying to process the loss. My heart was broken and there was an emptiness that nothing could fix or fill. My husband suggested I find a way to do something to help myself heal, and from my sorrow the "Love Brin" bracelet series was born.

We are all familiar with the immense feeling of loss and grief when a furry family member crosses the rainbow bridge. The Crystal Dragon felt this loss, and from that grief came love and hope.
These bracelets not only helped to heal my heart, but also help others in need. A portion of every bracelet sale is given to Happy Tails Animal Hospital in Superior Wisconsin to be used for families in need of assistance with medical expenses for their pets. Our pets are part of our families, and the Love Brin bracelets are a way to keep that with you. You can visit them, donate what you can and take a bracelet.
